Croquembouche, a traditional French desert.
Last week we took part in a trip to France which was organised by Taste Cumbria.
We met lots of wonderful people and producers which have become new friends and have much to offer for ‘la table de Cumbria’. There should be quite a bit of media coverage so keep your eyes open!
Our latest success was a commission from a customer who asked us to create a traditional French celebration cake ‘The Croquembouche’ for their 25th wedding anniversary. It was a great pleasure and honour to make this and I wish to thank two great friends and skilled chefs James and Dawn who helped me create the masterpiece. If you fancy one of these for your big day let us know as we are officially the ‘Croquembouche’ makers in the region!
